Too good to be true? You bet. A 19 inch LCD monitor from Dell had been listed on their website. Instead of the intended price of $150, the price was entered as just $15. The news spread quickly through the internet and within 8 hours, almost 140,000 monitors had been ordered from 26,000 customers. Dell corrected the price but received 471 complaints. While in some countries the order would be cancelled, Taipei will consider it a violation of the country’s fair trade laws and Dell will be selling the monitors at the cheaper price. Customers who ordered one monitor will receive it for $15, while customers who ordered more than one, will get the first one for $15 and the others at a discount price.
